FES Library News- September 2012
- Welcome to our second year in the FES Library. Year two is a huge improvement over last year considering the library was still under construction in November.
- FES students are reading up a storm. During the first three weeks of school we have checked out approximately 3,000 books!
- We recently sent home plastic book bags for students to use to protect their library books in their backpacks as they travel between home and school. (The plastic bags were purchased with Box Top funds.)
- The Mock Newbery Book Club is underway. Over 70 fourth and fifth grade students signed up to take part in the book club. Visit the FES Mock Newbery Book Club blog to see a list of books students will read this fall. http://fesmocknewbery.blogspot.com/
- In December all students in grades K-5 will take part in the first FES Mock Caldecott program. Stay tuned for details.
